Campus Connectivity
DTU is well connected with the 2 metro lines, one is Samaypur Badli (Yellow Line) and the other one is Rithala(Red Line). You need to take an E-rickshaw to come to DTU. Other than metro lines, we have DTC buses running on the road. Railway stations and Airport are unfortunately not in proximity to DTU, but can be reached using either metro or buses. OLA, UBER, RAPIDO services are also available near DTU.
Campus Life @DTU
Campus Life here in DTU, is awesome. It may have a smaller campus than IITs, NITs or BITS but you will earn a great exposure over here. In rainy seasons, the campus looks so wonderful, that you would wish to have a walk inside DTU. Inside the campus, there is one main canteen besides which you will be witnessing one NESCAFE, HPMC juice corner and many more. Our college is known for its best cultural events as well as fests in North India. If you want to search you can google for “ENGIFEST”.
Hostel Facilities @DTU
Hostel facilities are also provided to the students of DTU, but they mainly prefer only Outsiders. With this term, I mean to say students who do not reside in DELHI, they have come to DTU from different states of INDIA. But if you want to stay around DTU, then the college is well surrounded by many PGs as well as Flats at a reasonable as well as affordable prices.
Internship Opportunities @DTU
Internship Opportunities are also available in DTU. But to get an internship, it is a difficult task in comparison to getting a placement. On-campus internships are quite tough, you must look for the off-campus opportunities too. If I go by the numbers, not even 50% of the students are able to crack on-campus internships.
Placement Statistics @DTU
Placement Record of this college is Good. Last year, our college had a total of 90% placement record with 11-12 lacs approx as the average CTC. But many students bag good CTCs as well. The highest package last year offered to one of the student was around 80 lacs. And last to last year, 2-3 students were able to take 1Cr international package offer with them.
Your Message
I would surely recommend every engineering aspirant to keep this college in mind, if you are not eligible for IITs/NITs despite of having a good rank. You surely deserve to study in a good college with that high rank.
