Campus Connectivity
Metro connectivity is good for DTU. In case of yellow line , travel till Samaypur Badli station where train terminates and take e-rickshaw for a 5 min journey at 10Rs. In case of red line, travel till Rithala station where also the train terminates and take Gramin sewa for around 10 min journey at Rs10 again

So, I am from information technology Engineering, DTU. Yes, its a privilege to be studying in the Delhi Technological University. Something very few get to experience Delhi Technological University ain’t a university, its a family,its a feeling. Life is pretty fun. You get to be whatever you want to. From artists, musicians, singers, orators, dancers, writers, programmers, athletes you’ll find everyone damn talent over here! Don’t rule the students of DTU out by saying they’re ‘studious’..

Hostel Facilities @DTU
Boys Hostel The boy’s hostel accommodates 1800 students. There are a total of 11 hostels at Delhi Technical University, including. The Boys Hostel are…. 1.Bhaskaracharya Hostel 2.Sir C.V. Raman Hostel 3.Vahamir Hostel 4.Sir J.C. Bose Hostel 5.Aryabhatt Hostel 6.Ramanujam Hostel 7.Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam University 8.Homi Jehangir Bhabha Hostel 9.Sir Vishveshwarya Hostel 10.Type II block – 1,2,3,6&7 Hostel 11.Type III blocks-1&2 Hostel Each one of these hostels has its own common rooms.
The APJ Abdul Kalam hostel are fully air-conditioned and are connected to the campus wifi network. The wifi connectivity allows students to browse the internet and they have full access to the online library, which they can use for their research works. Each hostel is appointed a warden to help with the assistance and supervision of the students. Girls Hostel The girl’s hostel accommodates 800 students.
There are 3 hostels in the girl’s wing hostel at the campus including: 1.Sister Nivediata Hostel 2.Kalpana Chawala Hostel 3.Virranga Lakshmibai Hostel The girl’s hostel is well equipped and sufficient in terms of area. The New Hostel Virranga Lakshmibai Hostel is fully Air Conditioning AC available. There is a proper wifi connection for the utilisation of students. There is proper security and each building has its own warden to supervise the students.
Internship Opportunities @DTU
Companies start arriving for hiring interns in the last week of July and all major companies complete their process by August (except Adobe which comes in January) . All major companies like Amazon, Samsung, D.E.Shaw, Arcesium, Microsoft, Directi, Expedia come in August. Every company has similar process although the topic of questions asked and number of rounds may vary.
General Procedure:
- Online Coding Round: Consisting of Multiple Choice Questions based on Aptitude, DS, Algo,OS and DBMS and 2 or 3 coding questions.
- 2–3 Technical Interviews which test your skills in DS,Algorithm and coding.
- HR round The internship data for 2021-22 is also out on the official website. The highest stipend and average stipend offered during DTU internships 2022 were INR 2 lakh and INR 45,400, respectively.
Placement Statistics @DTU
Delhi Technological University has released the 2022 placement statistics. As per the report, 403 companies participated in the 2022 drive and offered 2,459 job offers. The DTU average package stood at INR 15.16 LPA. The highest international package offered was INR 1.8 crore per annum and the highest domestic package was INR 64.23 LPA. The median package stood at INR 11 LPA. Additionally, 14 international offers of packages above INR 1 crore per annum were grabbed during dtu placements 2022.
