Campus Connectivity
The campus is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just 2-3 km away from the train station. What makes it even better is that it’s situated right on Station Road. As you step out of the college gate, you’ll find various modes of transportation available, thanks to its proximity to Gole K Mandir, a well-known four-way intersection. However, it’s worth noting that the surrounding area of the college is not highly developed. In fact, it might remind you of your village, particularly Pragati Vihar.The people in this area (not all) have a different communication style,you might get offended sometimes by their way of talking.
Campus Life
- The college provides facilities that meet the standard expectations. The college is blessed with a lush green environment, offering students a serene,soothing and natural setting to enhance their learning experience.
- Seminar halls are well maintained here and are the coolest place.Library is good and canteen is average.Labs are well equipped and faculty is supportive. Infrastructure is average here.Departements are built within an area of 10-15 acres and are smaller. Football ground is good.Overall campus Life is decent here.
- You will see most of the students from the Madhya pradesh itself. You will see ample opportunities here to improve your socio-skills as almost every month 2-3 events are being organised by different clubs.Our college boasts a wide range of clubs that cater to various student interests, covering almost every sphere imaginable.Some clubs are hhc,Asimov,arts club,journalism society, Rashtraay and many more. Sports facilities is average.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are well built here.Unfortunately,boys hostels are provided for only 1st year students.Girls hostels are provided for all the academic year students throughout their tenure.Mess food is average.Girls hostel are built inside and outside the campus as well.For boys 2nd year onwards you have to find your residence on your own.Hostel rooms are great.
Internship Opportunities
Students can go for Internship for the full duration of VIII semester if they get an internship offer through selection process and/or Final placement offer in advance through T&P Cell of the institute.Students from 8th sem are required to apply for industry internships as part of their academic obligations.The T&P cell will support for getting internships in industries/organization after seventh semester or for Internship cum placement opportunities.It is also mandatory for 6th sem students to participate in internship though the college doesn’t provide internship in the same sem.You will get sufficient internship opportunities here to kickstart your career And also It depends upon the individual.
Placement Statistics
Placements are average here.Mostly mass recruiters visit the campus and they offer average packages.In 2022 the average package was 4.5 lac.Some of the companies who visits are tcs, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini,virtusa,Honeywell,wipro,byjus’s and many others.Persistent offered 7.5 lpa and 9lpa and kloudspot offered 8.5 lpa.Tiger analytivs offered 8.5 lpa packages.In 2022,almost 80% students were placed of the intake(and that was 990).In 2023,during the starting phase of the placement (in August and September) many companies visit the campus but due to recession the company numbers fell down and the companies who were visiting were offering very low packages.Overall you have to work hard to get the opportunity since there are many branches here too so obviously the competition would be high.
Your Message
Overall the college is good. You have to work hard for the placements.Best of Luck.Don’t come here just for the sake that it is partially government. I have seen that many good companies which offered much better packages visited many private colleges like lnct plus the gwalior city is too not like Bhopal and indore.Well at the end it all depends upon you how your campus Life would be and your stay at gwalior.
