IIT Dhanbad Campus:

The campus of IIT Dhanbad is great and also has India’s first intra-college smart underpass. It also has the biggest library in Asia. There are 3 Mega Hostels and 3 normal Hostels for Boys. Girls have a cluster of Hostels and a newly constructed Mega hostel. The campus environment is calm and soothing. The amenities in IIT Dhanbad are there but they are not properly maintained. Internet facility is partially available on the campus. The buildings are a little dull and old-fashioned. It is one of the best institutes for Mining and Metallurgy.

Dhanbad is one of the largest cities in East India and is connected to various parts of the country through a lot of mediums. The airport here is for the private plane so the best recommendation is the Birsa Munda Airport at Ranchi. The National Highways 18 and 19 pass through Dhanbad making it accessible through the road. Dhanbad Junction Railway Station is the best choice to reach here, with trains running from all the major stations.
